Role Name: Senior Software Engineer – Java/Python
Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Desired Experience Range: 6 years to 12 Years
Role Profile
In this role, you’ll be joining our RDP Distribution Team within Enterprise Data Technology, Data Intelligence Division as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for developing system to transform data and distribution information to client via various distribution channel.
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
- 5+ years coding experience and be proficient on backend microservices development in Java, and/or Python.
- Hands on experience at least one RDBMS (Sybase ASE, SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
- Basic Knowledge of Cloud: AWS development and maintenance experience.
- Solid technical understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix platform, and DevOps tools. (e.g. CI/CD, GIT, etc.).
- Good understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented design.
- Familiar with Agile development process and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence etc.).
- Strong sense of ownership and focus on customer satisfaction.
Education and Professional Skills
- Professional qualification or equivalent.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Solid English reading/writing capability required.
- Strong communication & articulation skills.
- Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking.
