Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data analytics solutions and manage our expansive data infrastructure, scaling it to meet the analytics needs of Amazon India.
• Build solutions that achieve Best At Amazon standards for data availability, consistency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using SQL, Amazon, and AWS big data technologies.
• Champion operational excellence within the team by creating automations to streamline operations.
• Develop capabilities to enable efficient exploration and experimentation of large datasets on our platform, while also implementing access control mechanisms for standalone datasets.
• Design and build scalable, cost-effective data and analytics infrastructure to support use cases for Emerging Marketplaces and Worldwide teams on our data platform.
• The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication abilities, be self-motivated, and able to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced setting.
• You will work closely with a talented group of engineers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell)
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., AWS QuickSight or Tableau) or open-source project
• Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience with any ETL tool like, Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc.
• Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure
