Role Responsibilities
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failures, implement preventive measures against them, and establish monitoring and alert systems.
- Evaluate technical feasibility by rapidly prototyping concepts and experimenting with new, relevant technologies and tools.
- Resolve customer issues through troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration for end-to-end issue resolution.
- Actively participate in an Agile Scrum environment, contributing to e-commerce application and service development across roles like design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Adapt to changing sprint requirements by demonstrating proficiency across various roles, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 5 years of impactful experience working independently as a software engineer is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing, deploying, debugging, and scaling applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Expertise working with both relational (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) and noSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
- Extensive knowledge of a backend programming language, ideally Node.js.
- Experience with architectural patterns for large-scale web applications using REST microservices and well-designed REST APIs.
- Proficiency developing microservices with Node.js framework.
- Proficiency developing and deploying microservices using EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, containers, etc.
- Experience with large-scale relational and NoSQL databases.
