Role Responsibilities

• The position will report to the Quality Manger.
• Conduct inspections in accordance with internal quality management system procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to develop and implement AS 9100 procedures and systems.
• Support driving quality requirements throughout production processes.
• Eager to cross-train in quality cells and collaborate with high-performance teams to analyze and improve yield, EHS, and processes.
• Contribute to continual improvement through audits, assessing nonconformities, and implementing corrective actions identified via root cause analysis.
• Demonstrates understanding of site quality management system (QMS) procedures and policies.
• Understands process and yield improvement tools such as root cause analysis (RCA), kaizen events, and the seven quality control (QC) tools.
• Provides training and support to shop operations, design, and manufacturing groups to ensure effective quality assurance.
• Stays up-to-date on the latest inspection techniques and processes, including their benefits and limitations for optimal application.
• Pursues continuous improvement projects focused on quality and cost reductions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• First Class Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• 2 + Years of Experience in Aviation industry in the fields of aviation quality inspection & product acceptance.
• Working knowledge of AS 9100 and internal requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T, drawings & specifications interpretation

• Knowledge of AS 9100 , AMS , S1000 / S1002 standards.
